Distance Traveled: Not reported...

A very good day of travel again. Spring weather, it got up to about minus 10 Fahrenheit, but is dropping to around minus 25 right now. It is late at night, about 10:30. We are in the tent. It is actually dark outside, the stars are out, a beautiful evening.

We traveled over the divide and into the Arrowsmith River, another watershed that we will be following for a little bit. The conditions were perfect, and the dogs have been running well.

We would like to really thank our friends in Pelly, Michael and his friends that brought us the dog food. We reached the dog food cache today, and are very grateful. It really helped us and the dogs out. The dogs are pretty happy about the food.

We are looking forward to meeting the community, and we should be there in about a week. We will be staying four or five days, and everyone is really excited about meeting everybody there.

We arrived OK at the cache, everyone is happy, a perfect day. Good spring travel. It is just a beautiful spring evening outside. Just glorious. There is probably no one around, and we are quite isolated in camp, as usual. The lights and the lanterns are on, we are camped on a nice site by the river. There is a ledge off the the south with big snowdrifts, the dogs are sleeping in line.

We will take the day off tomorrow, Friday, which is our education day. And the educational section will be posted online for the schools on Monday. And I will be catching up on some diary journals.
