Relaxing Day in Pelly Bay-Kugaaruk

Today, Sunday, has been kind of a day off for us, and we’ve been visiting with people. We had a potluck dinner with the teachers in town, then spent most of the day with the family here, playing with the kids and watching TV. Tomorrow we will do some work on our equipment, and then we plan to leave on Tuesday.

The temperature today was around zero degrees Fahrenheit, which is very nice. We’ve got a lot of open ocean to the north of us, so we have been getting a lot of clouds in from that. It has been another peaceful day here in Pelly.
