A very cold day of travel. We traveled 30 miles. It clouded up, was quite windy, chilly, very untypical of a June 1 day. The conditions for travel were perfect: frozen surface, a couple of feet of snow over the ice, a really hard pack. The dogs were very energetic. We have 24 hour light, and are traveling from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
