We are in Pond Inlet, another day of great weather. It is a special day for the expedition, Eric is 24. We are going to have a party for him tonight. I’ve had just a great time traveling with Eric, he’s been an important person on the expedition and, especially for a person of his age, I’ve been very impressed with him. He’s a future leader. And he’s really enjoying himself today. He takes his birthdays very seriously, so he’s a really happy character today. I can’t tell you how wonderful it has been traveling with him, and finishing on his birthday.

Tomorrow we have our final team meeting on what our future is going to be, so by tomorrow I when I call in I think I can tell for certain the direction we will be heading. For now I’m still working on charters and so forth, and setting things in motion, if we decide to go back to Pond, which is I think the direction we will be heading.

It will be great to get home, but it is very pleasant here right now. It’s a beautiful day, beautiful scenery, wonderful people. Pond Inlet is a wonderful place.
